Caffeine alternative: hormone-proof coffee

Drinking coffee on an empty stomach in the morning is like starting your car without a full tank. It's like giving your foot a hard rev without the necessary fuel in the tank. While coffee is popular, it has some negative effects on hormones, including:

  • Increased stress hormones
  • Adrenal dysfunction
  • Sleep problems
  • Estrogen balance problems
  • Calcium loss
  • Reduced insulin sensitivity
  • Fertility problems in women
  • Increased blood pressure and heart rate

Of course, nobody wants this and we like to think of solutions!

Hormone-proof coffee

Ingredients:

  • Coffee (organic, possibly decaf, but you can also use one of the alternatives)
  • Collagen powder
  • Plant-based milk or organic raw cow's milk
  • A pinch of Celtic sea salt

Preparation method: Ingredients:

Step 1: Start your day with a nutritious breakfast. Before you reach for your coffee, it's essential to fuel yourself with a nutritious breakfast. This will ensure your body is well-prepared and the caffeine doesn't have too much of an impact.
Step 2: Add collagen powder. Mix a scoop of collagen powder into your coffee. Collagen can help maintain a healthy hormonal balance.
Step 3: Add plant-based or organic raw cow's milk. For a creamy latte experience, add plant-based or organic raw cow's milk. These contain healthy fats that give your coffee a delicious flavor.
Step 4: A pinch of Celtic sea salt. If you're feeling stressed, add a tiny pinch of Celtic sea salt to your coffee. This will help replenish your minerals and help you relax.

Benefits of Hormone-Friendly Coffee:

  • Reduced anxiety and stress
  • Stabilization of the heart rate
  • Improved energy and concentration
  • Less sweating
  • Reduced PMS symptoms, such as breast tenderness
If you are still experiencing hormonal issues, it may be worth avoiding coffee completely.

Alternatives to Caffeine:

We also have some caffeine-free alternatives for you that can keep your energy levels up without disrupting your hormones:
  • Herbal teas, such as chamomile, peppermint, ginger and rooibos
